*Intrigue came to Dances with Hooves as a yearling and we've been watching his development into a fine young stallion with pride and wonder at his trainability and attitude. So far, Intrigue has produced only curly offspring, regardless what he is bred to. 50% of his breedings have been to non-curly mares and 50% have been to known heterozygous mares. In two seasons he has produced 4 very curly foals, each of them showing every possible curly physical trait.

Because we believe that *Intrigue is genetcially homozygous for curls and he is not extreme, he offers something rare and wonderful to Curly breeders.

For that reason, we would love to find a breeding home for *Intrigue so that his genetics are not lost to the limited curly gene pool. However, if no one is interested in purchasing him, he will most likely be gelded in the fall of 2007.

*Intrigue demonstrates the typical Curly trainablity and an excellent disposition. He spent several months with a trainer in late winter and was lightly started under saddle without the slightest concern about a rider on his back.

*Intrigue was presented at a CSI inspection in the fall of 2007. He earned the ranking of "Elite" stallion, currently the only Elite stallion in CSI history. He was also the inspection site champion for adult horses AND he is currently the highest scoring Adult Horse in the history of CSI inspections.

*Intrigue shows natural elevation and suspension in his stride movement, so rare in the Curly Breed.
