*Rosh Hashanah

"Hannah" is a flaxen sorrel, minimal sabino mare, standing a solid 16 hands. She is uncommonly large for a Curly mare, and has the substance of an old fashioned Warmblood. But Hannah has more than size, she has a sweet, disposition, feet like iron and substance to stay sounds for a lifetime of hard work.

After several years of logging miles on the trails, Hannah is embarking on a dual career, broodmare and dressage horse.

The fall of 2006 was full of "firsts" for Hannah. She attended her first dressage clinic with J. Ashton Moore in October, 2006. She wowed everyone with her solid work ethic, sweet disposition, calm and even temperament and most of all, how fast she caught on and how hard she tried everything we asked her to do. I've never worked with a horse that learned so quickly, it was as if she could read my mind instead of waiting for the normal rider's cues.

As an added benefit, everyone loved her curly, blond mane & forelock and her curly eyelashes! She was a perfect lady for the full 4 days and everyone loved her!

Hannah's next milestone was to venture out to some local dressage shows. She came through once again and wrapped up her year by winning the 2006 CSI Training Level AOTR Horse of the Year award with very limited showing.

Hannah produced a fabulous curly filly sired by Sampatico this spring. She has started back to work and she is now schooling some first and second level movements and we have several dressage clinics planned for Hannah this fall.

Under Construction: Please check back later!

*Dances Moonstruck

*Dances Moonstruck is a Curly, Amish bred mare, with a lot of draft influence. She has consistently caught on her first cycle, she has always foaled easily and has been a great mom! At 15.2, she is not the tallest of mares, but she has produced 3 colts so far, all promising to mature to be her size or taller. She was bred by her previous owner prior to her second birthday (foaling the month before she turned 2) so she might easily have matured taller IF she hadn't been bred so young.

As a brood mare, she offers the ability to add some size an substance to a breeding program. If she is bred to a smaller, narrower stallion, she seem to compensate nicely and produce a more substantial baby without producing somethign drafty. She has been started both as a riding and driving horse. Rox will be tuned up under saddle when her current foal is older. $4500. Available after weaning of her current foal, could be bred back to *Intrigue for a 2008 foal. Dances With Hooves 864-969-2805
